In this session, teachers will learn about the main functionalities of Google Apps such as Docs, Slides, Forms, the Drive platform and Google Classroom. Teachers will get to create their own Google Classroom platform to experience hands on what the possibilities of the environment are. The main points presented will be: – Creating and sharing both individual and collaborative documents, – Using multimedia paperless tasks, – Assigning homework or class projects through Google Classroom, and – Showing useful features such as citation and revision history. There will also be a space for project-based learning and how Google Apps can help educators design them. This session is designed for educators that are already familiar with Chromebooks but feel like they are not yet taking full advantage of their possibilities. Teachers must bring a Chrome book to the training.
